Rancho Buena Vista Little League Hit-A-Thon Rules
Each registered RBVLL player that wants to participate can participate, NO DONATION REQUIRED. The Hit-A-Thon is open to ALL players in ALL divisions.
Pledges can be collected via a personalized fundraising site (EX:99pledges.com) set up by Rancho Buena Vista Little League and emailed to each family.
All players must have their RBVLL team jersey and team hat to participate in the event. Each player must have a helmet and a USA-approved bat.
Every player participating in the event will receive 10 pitches: coach pitches, pitching machine pitches, or hits off of the tee for T-ball players. A fair ball will be considered a hit. A missed pitch or strike is considered one of the pitches and a player cannot “foul out”.
The only player holding a bat shall be the player preparing to hit.
Teams will participate as a group at their designated time.
Each team will designate two volunteers- one to pitch-via pitching machine, pitching or placing balls on the tee and one dugout supervisor.
Players have the opportunity to receive tickets for an opportunity to win various prizes. 1 ticket for fair ball, 2 tickets per target hit. Players who hit an out of the park home run will receive 4 raffle tickets and a cash prize for their first home run only.
Additional raffle tickets can be purchased the day of the hit-a-thon and can be used for instant prizes or raffle prizes.
Fundraising prizes will be awarded in the following categories. Prizes will be announced in the week leading up to the event. Prizes are cumulative.
